If Hostiko isn't right for you, we'd rather understand why and try to help — but if you want to leave, here's the process.
Within the first 7 days (full refund)
- Open a support ticket with subject "Refund + cancellation request".
- Tell us briefly why (optional — for our improvement).
- We confirm eligibility within 1 business day.
- Refund to your original payment method within 3-5 business days.

After 7 days
No cash refund, but you have options:
- Don't renew. Your service runs until the paid-up date, then stops. We send 3 renewal reminders before it ends.
- Transfer the remaining time to a different Hostiko service (web design, M-Pesa integration, SSL, etc.) — open a ticket.
- Transfer to a friend/NGO/church — one transfer per account, requires both parties to confirm.
Domain ownership
Even if you cancel hosting, your domain stays yours until its expiry date. You can:
- Transfer it to another registrar (we'll provide the EPP/auth code).
- Park it until you need it again.
- Renew it through us even without active hosting.

If there's a specific problem, let support know. We've resolved most issues in under 24 hours when given the chance — much faster than re-migrating to another host.
