Hostiko (hostiko.co.ke) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect and use your personal information.
We collect your name, email address, Kenyan phone number (for M-Pesa payments), and billing information when you register or purchase services. We also collect server logs, IP addresses, and usage data for security and performance purposes.
Your information is used to provide and improve our services, process M-Pesa payments via KopoKopo, send service notifications and invoices, and provide customer support. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Payment processing is handled by KopoKopo (Safaricom M-Pesa partner). Your M-Pesa transaction data is processed by KopoKopo under their own privacy policy. Hostiko stores only transaction confirmation references.
We use session cookies to maintain your login state on the client portal. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but this may affect portal functionality.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS (SSL/TLS). Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. We follow industry security standards to protect your account data.
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Billing and payment records are retained for 7 years as required by Kenyan tax law. You may request deletion of non-financial data by contacting support.
