Company registration, tax filing and a long list of government services already run through digital channels, and business is conducted in English. The practical consequence for a small company in Kigali is that a website is no longer the last thing you sort out — clients, partners and procurement officers expect to find you before they call you.
What has not kept pace is hosting. The common options are an international provider that bills in dollars, assumes a card you may not want to expose online, and answers support tickets from a time zone eight hours away; or a local reseller with no control panel and no backups. We run two hosting locations: a node in Kenya and a node in the United Kingdom. New accounts go on whichever suits the site, and you can ask for a specific one. For Rwandan visitors the Kenyan node is usually the better choice, because regional traffic between Rwanda and Kenya peers within East Africa instead of routing out to Europe and back.
We do not publish invented latency figures. What we do publish is our live status page, which checks the website, both hosting nodes, mail, the payment gateways and the domain registry every minute, and shows the real numbers including the bad days.
Practical notes for Rwanda
We register Rwanda's own extensions alongside .com, .org and 200+ others. These country extensions are arranged by our team rather than bought instantly at checkout, so allow one business day; you will get the invoice first and the domain confirmed once it is through. Renewal prices are shown up front — worth checking, because for some extensions the renewal is higher than the first year.

Our M-Pesa checkout is Safaricom Kenya only. MTN Mobile Money and Airtel Money Rwanda are not checkout options, so please plan on a card or a bank transfer. We would rather say so on this page than have you discover it at checkout.
Prices carry no VAT. If your business needs an invoice in a particular format for local accounting, ask and we will issue it that way.
