Your Hostiko email account works in any standard mail app (iOS Mail, Gmail, Outlook). Here are the settings.
Settings (same for iPhone, Android, Outlook)
- Username: your full email (e.g. info@yourdomain.co.ke)
- Password: as set in DirectAdmin → Email Accounts
- IMAP server: mail.yourdomain.co.ke
- IMAP port: 993 (SSL/TLS)
- SMTP server: mail.yourdomain.co.ke
- SMTP port: 465 (SSL/TLS)
- Authentication: Password (same one)
iPhone (iOS Mail)
- Settings → Mail → Accounts → Add Account → Other.
- Add Mail Account → fill name, email, password, description.
- Pick IMAP. Enter the server settings above for both Incoming and Outgoing.
- Save. iOS will verify and add the account.
Android (Gmail app)
- Open Gmail → Settings → Add account → Other.
- Enter your email address → "Manual setup" → choose Personal (IMAP).
- Enter password → enter IMAP server settings → next.
- Enter SMTP server settings → next.
Want Gmail interface but Hostiko email?
In Gmail web → Settings → Accounts → "Check mail from other accounts" → add your @yourdomain.co.ke via IMAP. Gmail then fetches your hosted mail every few minutes and you can send-as your domain too.
