Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on your Hostiko account

Protect your client dashboard with an authenticator app code in addition to your password.

2FA is the single most effective protection against account compromise. We strongly recommend enabling it on every Hostiko account.

Step-by-step

  1. Log into your client dashboard.
  2. Open Profile → Security.
  3. Click Enable 2FA.
  4. Scan the QR code with Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy.
  5. Enter the 6-digit code shown by the app to confirm.
  6. Save your backup codes — you'll need these if you lose your phone.

What if I lose my phone or authenticator app?

Use a backup code at login. If you didn't save backup codes, open a support ticket with proof of identity (the original payment receipt, ID matching the account name). We disable 2FA after manual verification.

2FA for DirectAdmin

DirectAdmin supports 2FA separately. Log into DirectAdmin → Two-Step Authentication → Configure. Enable it especially for shared/reseller accounts where multiple people have credentials.
