Free website migration is included on every paid Hostiko hosting plan. Here's what we need to do it cleanly.
What you provide
- Login to your current host's control panel (cPanel, DirectAdmin, Plesk, custom panel) — username + password. We change the password after migration is complete; you change it again.
- The domain name being moved.
- Confirmation when DNS should switch — typically right after we've verified the new site works on a temporary URL.
What we do
- Copy all files (HTML, PHP, images, uploads) from the old host.
- Export databases (MySQL/MariaDB) and re-import on Hostiko.
- Configure email accounts on the new server.
- Test the site on a temporary URL like yourdomain.hostiko.net.
- Once you confirm everything works, we update DNS to point your domain at Hostiko.
- Monitor for 48 hours; transfer email mid-flight if needed.
How long does it take?
Standard WordPress / static sites: 4-12 hours from the time you give us credentials. Large WooCommerce stores or multi-site setups: 24-48 hours.

Zero. We migrate, test, then switch DNS — your site keeps running on the old host until the moment it starts running on the new one.
