You can change your plan at any time from your client dashboard. The price difference is prorated automatically based on the days remaining in your billing cycle.
How to upgrade
- Log into client dashboard.
- Find your active service → click "Upgrade Plan".
- Pick the new plan → review the prorated price → pay via M-Pesa.
- The upgrade is applied within minutes — no downtime, no migration.
How to downgrade
Same flow, but pick a lower plan. Heads up: if your current usage exceeds the lower plan's limits (e.g. you're using 12 GB and downgrade to a 10 GB plan), you'll need to clean up first. We'll warn you on the upgrade screen if this applies.
When does an upgrade make sense?
- Disk usage is over 80% of your plan limit.
- You see "resource limit exceeded" errors during traffic spikes.
- You're adding a second site that doesn't fit your current plan.
- You want LiteSpeed cache acceleration (included from Business tier and up).
Upgrading to VPS or Managed WordPress
Moving from shared to VPS or Managed WordPress requires a full migration (different infrastructure). It's still free — just takes a few hours and is coordinated by our team.
