Most things are allowed on Hostiko. A short list of what isn't, to keep the platform safe and fast for everyone:
- Illegal content as defined by Kenyan law — including but not limited to piracy, fraud, hate speech, and content harmful to minors.
- Spam. Outbound bulk email without proper opt-in. We allow legitimate newsletters and transactional email; not cold-blasted mass email.
- Phishing & malware hosting. Auto-suspended within minutes of detection.
- Resource abuse on shared hosting — crypto mining, persistent CPU-heavy background processes, file-sharing pirate archives. These belong on VPS or dedicated servers, not shared.
- Public proxies / VPN exit nodes. Allowed on VPS with appropriate configuration; not on shared hosting.
- DDoS launch tools / booter sites. Permanent ban with no refund.
